Swayback is an independent publisher of children’s picture books.

Through the lens of kid logic, we attempt to see the world as it is, not as adults have arranged it.

Founded by two sisters, Swayback aims to bring a new generation of readers what we found in our favorite stories: the understanding that wonder, make-believe, and even irreverence carry life’s biggest lessons.

We believe that the best kids’ books are not only beautiful objects, but can hold philosophical truths for adults, too, so long as they can learn to see the world through kid eyes again.
